Case 2

A forty-seven-year-old woman came to see me about continuous severe vaginal bleeding, which had occurred for the previous six months before the consult. She had seen two gynecologists; both recommended surgery to remove a large uterine fibroid. She was given no alternative. She refused the surgery.

The patient showed clear symptoms of Pulsatilla. I prescribed Pulsatilla one dose of 1M.

After five days, her bleeding stopped completely.

No matter how uncomplicated the case, I always worry about the outcome. In both case 1 and case 2, the clients’ symptoms were severe, but they showed clear pictures of an indicated remedy. This means that the pathology was not very deep. Again, I cite an insightful planation from Kent:

“In proportion as the pathology progresses, the signs and symptoms decrease.”
